As a senior in DeVry University, I was in a class which required each student to make a full video game from the ground up using one of the provided toolsets. I chose to use the excellent Game Maker program because of its ability to quickly prototype and debug game concepts. The resulting game, titled Tanky Go Boom, is a casual top-down perspective shooting game containing 8 levels, 4 enemy types, dynamically generated music, and enemy artificial intelligence (AI), though these could have been easily expanded upon given more time.
